Welcome to Hillbilly Quilts & Crafts WE ARE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Come on in and sit awhile, we love visitors. Hillbilly Quilts now has a new location. You can find us at the Country World Market in Georgetown, KY. We are now out there and getting more prepared to go. Hopefully we will get to open a shop in town in Lawrenceburg within the next year if all goes well in Georgetown. Jackie and Lesley are off on their own creating, but are still featured in the shop and will be joining to help instruct classes when they start next summer. I now have a new partner in crime,,,Gayle. Gayle is a great seamstress and does all our floral arrangements too. We hope you get a chance to come by and see us at Country World. |

Quilting Classes
Classes will begin no later than June 2002. We have a few small things going on now,,but just do not have the space for the larger more requested forums. Hang in there with us and hopefully we will have you in stitches soon. |
Cuttin Up !!!
If the fabric would cut itself we would definately get to finish more quilts a lot faster. But don't get discouraged. All those precise cuts will make a beautiful quilt in the end and make it much easier to get there while piecing. |
New Additions to The General Store
We will be unable to bring you the General Store online until November due to the overwhelming increase in online custom orders. If you are interested in a custom quilt you may still email me and tell me what you are looking for and how much you are looking to spend, or at least a ball park figure. I will email you back and let you know about fabric availability and a time frame.
Featured Crafters
I have met so many great people in the past few months. Next month I plan to feature a few of them for you. Mammy Jane's quilts is one of the great artist I can't wait to tell you about. They are so passionate about their quilts, and you wont believe how nice they are. Another couple you will love to read about and see are the Curtis's. They are wonderful folks with a stash of fabric you won't believe. AND CHEAP!!!!! It's amazing they can have the quality for the price. You won't believe it either. |
